Today was Morgan's 10th birthday!!! She is finally in double digits. Here's a quick background on Mo:
Name: Morgan Lexia Hellbusch -She was named after her great great grandma Lexia Warnock.
Nickname: Mo; Mojo; Moses
Height: 4' 6"
Hair color: Brown
Eye color: Hazel
Favorite color: yellow
Favorite food: tacos
Favorite TV show: Stick It
Favorite song: When I Get Where I'm Goin'
Favorite animal: Dog
Favorite sport: Soccer and Dance
Favorite past time: Play outside
Best Qualities: Morgan is one of the most positive, easy going kids you will ever meet. She will try anything and loves to do new things. She does great in school and dance. She loves to play soccer and is one of the most social kids you will ever meet!

For her birthday Morgan wanted a bedroom set and matching bedding. The furniture came while she was gone and her dad and I set up all of her new stuff. When she got home her room was all "new". She was so excited! She got a bed, a dresser, and a bookshelf. The one thing she was really specific about was she wanted a lot of pillows on her bed. So I went to Potter Barn and got her so many pillows that they take up half of her bed!! I am so glad that she was happy with her surprise. We love her.

Tonight while the boys were at Priesthood, we girls went to the mall. Morgan wanted to go to The Old Spaghetti Factory for dinner so Tim and Jaxson said they would meet us there when they were done. We had a great time shopping. Morgan had birthday money to spend. She is so cute-she hates to spend money. Especially when it is her own. (She doesn't get that from me.) She bought a Build A Bear but decided she had clothes that it could wear at home so she decided to bring it home naked. Nobody look!!!!

Morgan would say that her best present was that her dad was able to come home from out of town today. Usually if he is gone he comes home on Sunday morning. The stars must have been aligned right because Tim made it home to celebrate Morgan's birthday. She sure loves spending time with Dad.

I am so grateful for Morgan. She has the neatest personality and a killer smile. Her laugh is infectious and everybody loves her. Happy Birthday Mo.

Where to begin...
Thursday I met with the lady who bought my business. I ran straight from there to the elementary school to decorate a door for Grandparents Day. Then I ran home to get Morgan to dance. From there I went home to feed Ryanne and drive her and two friends to dance. When I drop them off, I am supposed to pick Morgan up. The problem is I was in a hurry to get Emmie to her soccer game and then rush to see if I could catch any of Jaxson's flag football game. I forgot to pick up Morgan. So it was back to the studio to get Mo. We were a little late to Em's game and completely missed Jaxson's. Yes, I am a great mom. I will just miss everything the kids do. Jaxson and his friend Andrew were waiting for me at the field when I got there. Does anyone know how to fit "everything" in. I am just not cutting it. It was a great Day!!!

Today I drove the Preschool carpool. Then I came home and got ready and went to a bead show in Salt Lake. Tonight I went to the Temple with my mom, two of her sisters, and my sister Kate. We went to "celebrate" my grandma's birthday. It was really nice. After the session we went to dinner and then back to my house for dessert. The kids were safe and fed. (What more could a mom ask for?) It was nice to visit and share memories about Grandma. I miss her. She was so much fun to talk to. I hope that my grandkids say that about me.

Tomorrow is Morgans birthday. We are so excited! Tim gets to come home a day early and enjoy the Saturday fun with me. I couldn't be happier.

Until next time!KH

I am going to bed. I got sucker punched in the ribs twice at my soccer game. I still can't take a deep breath and I am already black and blue. I haven't been in a game like that since I was in High School. The good news is we still won. (I am still very competitive-but don't tell my kids.)
Until tomorrow.....

I usually look forward to Mondays. We seem to get back on a schedule and get many of our "affairs" in order. But.....Ryanne was sick today. She threw up all night Saturday and then again on Sunday. By this morning she was feeling okay, but I kept her home just to be on the safe side. I have not spent a day like this with her in so long it was so nice. Of course I was worried that she wasn't feeling well, but Emmie had preschool this morning so it was just Ryanne and I hanging out for a while. Sometimes life gets so busy that I forget that it is so fun to just pal around with the kids. Thanks for a great day Ryanne!!!

Now everyone is in bed for the night and I am trying to catch up on Laundry. I had just gotten all of Emmies blankets washed and put away. (She was sick last week) Now I am doing Ryanne's. I am sure the cycle will continue. Laundry is a never ending chore.

Recently I bought a MAC. I have been so excited to get started on so many different projects, that I can hardly contain myself. The problem is TIME. I don't know when I thought I would do these projects, but so far I haven't looked at my computer for more than ten minutes. One day!!! I am still excited. It is just one more thing to fit in.

We had a nice family night. We talked about the Family Proclamation and Jaxson proposed a family goal to save money for a Go Cart. We have family night at 8pm so it is usually somewhat rushed. The little girls need to be in bed early or they will never get up in the morning. I forgot to pass out the treats. Oops. I am sure I won't hear the end of that.

Today would be my Grandma's birthday. She passed away almost three years ago. I miss her terribly. Not a day goes by that I don't think, "Grandma would love to hear that," whenever the kids do or say something funny. She was such a wonderful person. She made you feel like nothing else mattered to her but you. I remember so many trips that I went on with her, and so many sleep overs with her. I am so grateful that she was my grandma!!! Happy Birthday.

Saturday
I feel like this week has been a whirlwind. Tim was gone all week. We all miss him, but I also feel like I run around like a chicken with my head cut off when I am a single mother of five. Wednesday Jaxson decided he would finally get a haircut. I think he looks great either way, but I sure like being able to see his face. Isn't he a hottie?

We had soccer practice, dance, homework, Young Mens, and even more dance this week. Thursday was kind of cold and yucky. Friday I went to lunch with some friends from my old neighborhood. It was so fun to visit with them. Sometimes I feel like I get so busy I forget just how much I enjoy company. (Especially when Tim is gone)

Emmie was so cold after preschool that she wanted hot chocolate. How could I say no to such a cutie? I am truly enjoying the time Emmie and I have together each day. I will be so sad when she goes to school.

Friday night Jaxson and I both had soccer games. Jaxson's team is such a good group of boys. They have been together for a few years now. They work so well together and seem to know right where their players will be and when to pass the ball. . They won 7-0. My team won also. I play with quite the group of ladies. We have a pretty good time. My kids like to come and watch. I thought that they enjoyed watching me play, but I think they enjoy watching me look like a fool. When the game was over, I had been feeling like we played a pretty good game and was kind of excited. But, when I went to drop my niece off at my sisters, she asked how the game had gone and I said it went well. Out of nowhere Hanna said, "My mom shot the ball three times and couldn't even make it in." For some reason after that my excitement disappeared.

Today is Saturday. Jaxson had to be at a field to referee soccer games at 7:45, Hanna was being picked up for a dance convention at 7:45, Ryanne had a soccer game at 10, Morgan had a game at 12:30, Emmie had a game at 1, I had a mandatory parents meeting with Ballet West (in Salt Lake) from 11-12, Morgan had a birthday party at 2:30, and I went to celebrate my friend Kyley's birthday at 4:30. Now I am home, everyone is in bed, and I am off to bed also. Days like today make me look forward to teaching a lesson on Sunday and hanging out with the fam!!! KH

Today was our cousin Avery's birthday. She is five and such a cutie!!Emmie and Avery are best friends. We went to Chuck E. Cheese for lunch and then got ice cream on our way home. We love that we have cousin's that live close!

We did the normal carpools to dance and then I had a soccer game. Running for an hour straight is so hard. I leave feeling very old. After my game we went back up to my sister's house for cake and ice cream. It is so hard to get everything done and the kids in bed at a decent hour. I keep looking at my "to do" list and wondering why it never gets smaller. Well, I am off for the night.
I am going to the Temple in the morning with my friend Shannon. I just love her.

Today was really not a "day of rest". Tim left for the air port at 7:45, Emmie got sick again this morning, and I hade to make cookies to bribe my Sunday school class. Emmie has not been feeling well since Friday night. Tim ended up flying solo for soccer games on Saturday. I "had" to stay home and take care of Em. Morgan and Jaxson's teams won. Ryanne's team lost. Luckily she has a great little attitude. Emmie was sad that she could not play in her game. She said, "but mom, it is very important to me." Then she curled up in our bean bag and took a snooz. She's pretty cute!!

Hanna and her friend went to the Ballet West auditions for this season's Nutcracker. They both were cast and will dance in the production. It is a pretty big thing to these girls. Not to mention, a great experience. I am so proud of them.

This past week a man in our ward past away. He has battled cancer for some time now. They have a yound daughter named Tia'. My little Morgan has been so worried about her. She is so cute. She made a cake and a card for her friend and asked me if she could "help" at the luncheon tomorrow. What a neat kid!! I am so grateful for my kids and how willing they are to help others.

Til' tomorrow!!!

Friday

Today Tim and I went to the gym and pumped some "iron" while Emmie was at preschool. Later Emmie and her cousin, Sam, rode bikes. It is so fun to have cousins close by. I don't know what we would do without them. After school Ryanne and her friends played school. They were so cute. Everyone fights over who gets to be the teacher.

Later we did the usual running-Hanna went to a friends, Jaxson had a soccer game, I had a soccer game, and Ryanne and Morgan had friends come over to stay the night. Emmie decided she was sick tonight, so when she was up at my sister's house she threw up five times. Boy, I am so sorry that I didn't take my cell phone into my game.

Jaxson's team tied their game. My team won. What can I say? Now everyone is home and ready to settle down for the night. We will start again in the morning. Hanna has dance, Morgan has a game at 9:30, Jax has a game at 10:30, and Ryanne and Emmie both have games at noon. It is "too bad" that Emmie probably won't be able to play since she is sick.

Until the next time-

This is our view today. It has rained on and off and the mountains look so pretty!!

We forgot to mention Millee. She is the final member of our family and a great playmate for the kids.

Nothing too eventful today. We went to Salt Lake and registered Hanna to audition for the Nutcracker. Oh, and the usual carpools. Morgan, Ryanne and Hanna had dance. Somehow we manage to stay busy.

Okay. Here goes..
I am so excited to start this blog. What a fun idea. I have to thank my friend Shannon for helping me, "get started" all afternoon. My kids will love seeing the things I write (unless it isn't so nice). I will love "journaling" some of our daily events. We hope you get some enjoyment from this.

I am officially a new blogger!!!!

Let me introduce you to our family. (Pictures are out of order) Jaxson is our oldest and obviously our only boy. He is 13 and into every sport under the sun. Right now he is on a competetive soccer team that has us running here, there, and everywhere.
Hanna is 11 and quite the dancer. Although when I went to Back to School Night her teacher was so excited to tell me that she was going to be the captain of his football team. He calls her "NFL Hanna."
Morgan is next. She is 9. (She will be 10 on the 30th). We love her to death. She has such a fun personality. Morgan is dancing and playing soccer right now.
Ryanne is 7. I don't even know where to begin_Ryanne is such a little jokester. She is playing soccer right now and everyone on her team loves her.
Emmalyne is our baby. She will always be our "baby" just ask her. (Even though she is almost 5) She is such a cutie. She started preschool this year so mom has three days a week where she is home all by herself.
Tim sells software for an internet company. It keeps him busy but he takes great care of us. We love him!!!!
I have been busy doing nothing. Hee, Hee!! I just sold my business so I am a stay at home mom. Or carpool mom, Soccer mom, dance mom, basketball mom, etc., etc., etc.....I try to stay active by playing on an indoor soccer league and going to a power pump class at the gym. We love our neighborhood and our view of the mountains from our backyard.
