Happy Birthday Tim!!!!

Today is Timmy's Birthday. He is the big 36. Wow! Does that seem old. Just joking babe. We actually had to celebrate Tim's birthday on Saturday. (He went out of town on Sunday). He got some great gifts. (I picked them out). We will be thinking of you all day today. WE MISS YOU!!!

Here are some of the kids favorite things about Tim:

Jaxson: "He is a boy. He rocks!"
Hanna: "He always understands when I am having troubles with people at school."
Morgan: "The love he gives to me and the job he has to keep a roof over our heads."
Ryanne: "How much he cares and how nice he is."
Emmie: "He's my daddy!"
Mommy: His muscles! Really my favorite is when we are away together and he is funny and care free. He is a great dad. I love to watch him "play" with the kids.

Happy Birthday. We love you so much. Hurry home.

Hola!

We went to Los Hermanos for lunch today. There was a long wait. The kids aren't the best people "waiters". We survived. I am not sure that everyone around us survived!

Everyone loved the food. Jaxson is in Park City at a friends. They went Snowboarding all day today. Ryanne went with her cousin, Savannah. The saw "Arthur and the invisible". At the end, everyone was content. That is a definite bonus!
Tomorrow I am going to meet our friends and get Jaxson. After I take him to school I am going to power pump. (I am loving that class). I have been trying to run after class, but I am usually pretty worn out. I keep trying.....

I know-I have been terrible about blogging. Things have been pretty crazy. Tim has been home for almost a month now. He left today. I don't think we will know what to do without him. The kids have absolutely loved having him around 24/7. It is a world we definitely could get used too. Tim- thanks for the fun!!!!!

I have been going to Power Pump three days a week and running the other days. It has been nice. I hope that I can keep it up with Tim gone. I can already tell that I am healthier. That is great.

Today has been a nice day. Church at 9am is hard in the morning, but soooo nice to have the better part of the day to hang out. Well, I will try to be better about blogging. Good night!

"Pay Day"

Today was a "Pay Day" for our family. We took all of the kids and went to Sundance. Everyone can either ski or snowboard so we spent the day on the "slopes". It was so much fun. I had a great time interacting with the kids and Tim. We just got to hang out and be together. Emmie did so good. She took a lesson and then went down with the rest of the family. Ryanne got a snowboard for Christmas. She took a lesson and then went with us the rest of the time too. All of the kids did so well. I am so proud of them. I am so grateful for the fun we were able to share.

Savannah's Baptism

Today my niece, Savannah, was baptized. She was so excited. Ryanne got very excited anticipating her own baptism. Those two are two peas in a pod. Savannah looked so pretty in her white dress. Congratulations Savannah! You are too cute.

In my quest to get in better shape, I was up and at power pump by 7:45am. That isn't so fun. I went straight from pump to Jaxson's basketball game. Tim is coaching Jaxson's team. He is a proud Papa. They won by a landslide. (I think-I know it wasn't a close game.) Good job Tim and Jax. It was so fun to watch.

Nothing else too exciting. We got ready and went to the Baptism. Our church changes to 9:00 tomorrow. I am dreading it. Four girls to get ready.......

Emmie and Mom Learn to Ski!

Tim and I took Jaxson and Emmie to Sundance today. Emmie and I have NEVER been skiing before. We had so much fun. I am amazed at how fast little kids learn. I am so grateful that our kids trust us and are willing to try new things. Tim has known how to ski, but decided to try snowboarding. He was pretty worn out by the end of the day.

This is Jaxson snowboarding. He is getting to be really good at it. He took a lesson in the morning and then went with Tim and I in the afternoon!

Emmie took an all day lesson and then went down with mom. She did great. I was really nervous but Emmie kept saying, I am fine Mom!" -and she was.
Thanks Tim, Jax, and Emmie. It was a great day. We get to go as a family next Monday. Everyone is looking forward to a day on the slopes!

Still Alive!!!

Yes, we are still alive. I have been MIA. Between Nutcracker, Christmas, New Years, and the kids being home, I really have been Missing In Action! So let me give a quick update! First Nutcracker was amazing. We loved seeing Hanna. It was so fun. She loved the experience and learned so much by being in the production.

Christmas was soooo fun. The kids were so fun to watch. Emmie is still so excited by the littlest things. Everyone got what they wanted-so all was well. My favorite gift was the old PacMan arcade game that Tim and I bought. It has 48 games on it. Not just any games-The GOOD ones. Ms. PacMan, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr., Galaga etc. etc.. I can't wait for the kids to go back to school so I can have a turn to play! Tim got the high score and I can't have that! I loved all the Christmas cards from everyone. It was so fun to get the mail each day. I love seeing everyone's families and hearing about what is going on in your lives. Thanks!

We went tubing at Soldier Hollow one day. The kids had a blast! It was so much fun. Even Emmie loved it. I recommend it to everyone.

Each of the kids invited a friend over for New Years. It was loud and CRAZY around here. We snacked, watched movies, let off fire works, played games, and snacked some more. Tim and the older two kids went to a fireside and then came home to join the fun.

We had a wonderful holiday and hope that everyone else did too!!! Here are a few pics.
