Hazel's Blessing Day

 Hazel Elayne Hellbusch

hazel has blessed our family in so many ways. today it was her turn to receive a blessing. first things first, have i ever mentioned that mr. hellbusch is amazing? he is for so many reasons. right now, i would like to talk about just one of them. when hazel was a newborn, tim mentioned that jaxson would be able to bless her. i immediately asked if that would make him sad because it is his right to bless his daughter. to my questioned he simply replied, "nothing would make me happier than having my son bless hazel. i love the men in my life and so does sweet hazel.

jaxson gave hazel a name and a blessing. it was tender and sweet. i am so proud to be his mom. he did a great job. you would never have guessed that jaxson was nervous. sounded so strong and sure of himself. i am so grateful for this day and the love that hazel has brought to our family. jaxson blessed hazel with so many wonderful things today. he was joined in the circle by his dad, bill markham, dave crockett, tanner squires, austin mansfield, trek robinson, and our bishop. these young men are some of jaxson's best friends the "old" men are family friends and examples to jaxson. these boys will all be leaving on their missions soon. some have their calls, others are anxiously waiting for calls. i will miss every one of them. i have loved having them in our home on a regular basis. hazel is one lucky girl. she has so many fine young men wrapped around her cute little finger.

me with "my" boys. i will miss them with all my heart.
this is how they usually act. yet, i couldn't love them more.
 they love pictures
tanner missed the group photo and this is the only picture i had of him that day.
i am so proud of all of these boys and grateful for the influence they have had on jaxson's life. hazel's blessing was one a the last few events before they all leave. it is bittersweet for me. there is nowhere i would rather have these boys go. however, as a group they will take a piece of my heart.

thank you to all the friends and family who came for our families special day. we have been blessed to have all of you in our lives. i am continually amazed at the love we have received from all of you over the years. thank you to my wonderful girls who wear the "big sister" title with honor. i love that hazel has such great examples in her life. you will be her best friends. she is such a blessed little girl.
