Morgan starts JUNIOR HIGH tomorrow! It's true! We went to "Back to School Night," and made sure she was comfortable with everything. She is all ready! (Even if I'm not!) I can't believe she is in 7th grade! Where did the time go???

Highlights!!! (April-August '09)

As summer winds to an end, I find myself tired! Between my beautiful, fun, loving children being home all day and family activities, I am frazzled. I remember so vividly my excitement over no homework or bedtimes at the end of the school year. However, a little structure seems quite appealing at this point! I apologize for abandoned projects, neglected friends and goals not quite accomplished. I am hoping that getting back into a "routine" helps us find some order again. Here are some highlights....

Flaming Gorge-definitely a family fave! We shared a week of good hard playing with great family and friends!
Emmie and Haidyn
Ryanne and Mo warming up on the cliffs.
Me and Ruby. What a treat to get to play with Ruby all day long, to say "goodnight" at bedtime and watch all the kids spoil her.
I did the Spudman in Burley Idaho with my friend Brooke. Loved it!!!!
American Fork Steel Days. Loved hangin' with the kids.
Swimming with friends and cousins.
Ryanne turned 10! Ryanne is one of the most popular girls in the neighborhood. Women from our ward and neighborhood were dropping off gifts for her all day. Thank you to all. Ryanne is a lucky girl to have so many people who love her in her life! She is one of the most tender hearted kids I know. We love her and can't believe how grown up she is becoming!
We spent a weekend in Sand Hollow with the Preece family. Again, we are lucky to have so many great friends!
This was a hard one for me! Jaxson turned 16 and got his driver's liscense. I approached this with mixed emotions. I love Jaxson. I am so proud of the person that he has become. However, I miss him. It makes me so sad to open the garage door and have his car be gone ALL THE TIME!!! I love when he is in our home. That being said, I am grateful for all the errands he now runs for me and his help with endless carpools.
Morgan graduated from 6th grade. She has become such a beautiful young woman. Morgan has so much energy and loves to have fun. I never thought I would say this but, "I miss when they were all young!"
My strong, handsome husband built a garden box in our yard. It is true, we planted a garden this year and it actually has produced! Thanks Timmy!

I just love this picture of Susan and Ruby. We have shared many family nights with good friends. This was taken at one of those family nights!

The girls and I went to Vegas for Spring Break. Joy and Haidyn, Carey and Ruby, and the Rovig girls joined us. Good times!!!

Family Night and fun with my Camera!

I did a "Create" Photography workshop with my friend
Carin on Saturday! Carin is so creative and takes the best pictures! I didn't even know my camera could do some of the things she taught me. I have played with my camera everyday. I love it. Here are a couple of the pictures I have taken. Above is Joy and her granddaughter, Zuri. Below are Joy's daughters, Haidyn and Weslie. I love these guys and feel like they are part of the family! I can't imagine my life without all of them in it! Thanks girls!

Weekend Fun!

Brookie came to play with me on Friday. She is the cutest. I just love when she comes over!

In college, Tim and I hung out with this crazy guy named Zac. Both Zac and Tim left on their missions the December of our Freshman year at BYU. I was so sad! They were my best friends. I hated having them gone. Yesterday was Zac's brother's 40th birthday! It was so fun to visit with Zac's whole family. I love all of them! Andy is one of the neatest people you could ever meet.

Zac and Tim. Zac is a little immature!!!!

Jaxson and Mom at the party

Andy with the Hellbusch crew.

Some things never change! I love these guys!

A Brave Little Girl!

Emmie had her surgery today!
She was so brave. Before we left she started to cry and said that she was scared. In spite of her fear, she took my hand and off we went.
Emmie was so tender. She held my hand and sat on my lap and tried so hard to be brave.

The doctor was trying to distract her so that they could put the IV in her arm. He gave her laughing gas and asked her questions. Emmie was not falling for it! Tim and I were able to stay with her until she was asleep.
We also got to be with her as soon as she woke up.
When she woke up, Emmie couldn't even remember going to sleep. She was a little groggy and worried about her lip. She asked us if her space was gone four or five times. I am so glad that everything went okay.

Her first visitor was Haidyn. (Of course!) Emmie and Haidyn are the cutest when they are together. They truly love and worry about each other. Haidyn brought "get well goodies" and lots of love for Emmie's recovery.
Emmie is loved by so many people! Thank you to all who came by and visited and brought goodies. Emmie is lucky to be loved by so many people!

Say "Goodbye" to the space between Emmie's teeth!

Tomorrow Emmie is having oral surgery to remove the space between her two front teeth! Can anyone even imagine her smile without the space? I can't! Emmie came in my room the other morning and said, "Two more days til' I'm not Emmie anymore." That made me so sad. I told her that she will always be Emmie. She replied, "Emmie with a different smile." Here are pictures of her beautiful smile with the space for all to remember.

We love you Em!!!!

Lately!

I am REALLY bad at keeping updated! SO.....here is what has gone on lately...

Emmie and Haidyn had a sleep over. IN MY BED! This is what they looked like when I woke up in the morning. It was way to cute to pass up!
My awesome triathlon friend made me a list of everything I needed for the race.(She even drew pictures!) This bag of goodies and the list where on my table when I got home the night before. I know, she is the best!

Family night with the Preece family. Jaxson gave a great lesson and Lucie supplied the fixings for banana splits! It was a great night.
